# Webhook events

> The events we send and what to do for each.

| `payment.succeeded` | Paid: fulfil the order. | Yes |
| `payment.failed` | Did not go through. | Yes |
| `payment.expired` | Payment window closed. | Yes |
| `payment.canceled` | Payer canceled. | Yes |
| `payment.abandoned` | Payer left the checkout. | Yes |
| `payment.processing` | Being confirmed with the bank: hold the order. | No |

<Warning>
  Only `payment.succeeded` means you have been paid. On `payment.processing`, hold the order: the card may already be charged, and it always ends in `success` or `failed`.

  A card declined with attempts left sends **no** webhook: the payment returns to `created`. After the 3rd failed card, it becomes `failed` and one `payment.failed` is sent.
